Since the beginning of the operation on February 5, some 3,028 suspects have been arrested and 2,627 firearms, 421,443 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 12,964 magazines, 30,510.08 kilos of drugs, including 163.45 kilos of fentanyl, 2,439 vehicles, and 384 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Ensenada, eight video surveillance cameras irregularly installed in public spaces were located and removed.
– Chihuahua
In Coyame del Sotol, a suspect was arrested and a machine gun, a rifle, 18 magazines, 2,917 rounds of ammunition, eight tactical vests, and a vehicle were seized.
– Nuevo Leon
In Rayones, three vehicles were seized, one of which was burned.
– Sinaloa
In Navolato, two suspects were arrested and two rifles, 13 magazines, 937 rounds of ammunition, eight link belts for cartridges, a vest, and two ballistic plates were seized.
In Culiacán, two storage facilities for various drug inputs were located and dismantled, and 1,000 liters of chemical substances for the production of illicit substances were seized.
– Sonora
In San Luis Río Colorado, two suspects were arrested and a vehicle, a handgun, eight rounds of ammunition, two packages of marijuana, and 32 packages of heroin were seized.
