Since the operation began on February 5, some 4,484 suspects have been arrested and 3,639 firearms, 589,673 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 17,693 magazines, 38,743 5 kg of drugs, including 254.79 kg of fentanyl, 3,359 vehicles, and 552 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, three suspects were arrested and 77 doses of methamphetamine, 25 doses of marijuana, and a vehicle were seized.
In Tecate, five magazines, 76 rounds of ammunition, tactical gear, and a vehicle reported stolen were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, two storage facilities for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 1,750 liters and an organic synthesis reactor were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations is 36 million pesos (US$1.90 million).
In Mocorito, a Barrett rifle, two long weapons, 26 magazines, rounds of ammunition, and a factory-armored vehicle were seized.
– Sonora
In Cajeme, five suspects were arrested and 30 rounds of ammunition, a rifle, a magazine, 58 doses of crystal meth, doses of marijuana, and a property were seized.
