Since the operation began on February 5, some 4,512 suspects have been arrested and 3,656 firearms, 592,712 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 17,741 magazines, and 38,776.7 kg of drugs, including 254. 7 kg of fentanyl, 3,372 vehicles, and 558 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict adherence to the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, four suspects were arrested and weapons, drug doses, vehicles, two properties, three IDs, and six counterfeit items of apparel made to appear to being from a law enforcement agency were seized, along with 30 high-end watches.
In another operation, a suspect was arrested and 67 rounds of ammunition, seven magazines, 26 kilos and doses of marijuana, 143 doses of methamphetamine, and two vehicles were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Ciudad Juárez, three individuals who had been abducted were freed, including a minor. A suspect was arrested, and three rifles, five magazines, 175 rounds of ammunition, and two vehicles were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Apodaca, a suspect was arrested and nine rounds of ammunition, a handgun, a magazine, doses of methamphetamine and marijuana, cash, a cell phone, a gram scale, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, two storage facilities used for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During these operations, 3,190 liters of chemicals used in the production of the drug were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations was 66 million pesos (US$3.48 million).
In Escuinapa, two encampments used by organized crime were located and dismantled. Various live rounds of ammunition, four magazines, a bag of marijuana, and tactical gear were seized at the site.
– Sonora
In Hermosillo, two rifles, seven magazines, 148 rounds of ammunition, and a property were seized.
In other operations, seven suspects were arrested, and two rifles, two magazines, 50 rounds of ammunition, 96 doses of methamphetamine, 34 doses of marijuana, two video surveillance cameras, and a property were seized.
