Since the operation began on February 5, some 8,212 suspects have been arrested and 6,408 firearms, 1,112,873 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 29,718 magazines, 105,054.2 kg of drugs, including 483.32 kg of fentanyl, 5,238 vehicles, and 994 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.

These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:

– Sinaloa

In Culiacán, a storage facility containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs was located and dismantled. During the operation, 625 liters of chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine and a burner were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is estimated at 12 million pesos (US$650 million).

In another operation in the same municipality, eight firearms, 15 magazines, 160 rounds of ammunition, 100 doses of marijuana, 305 doses of cocaine, 19 cell phones, and three communication radios were seized.

– Sonora

In Hermosillo, two suspects were arrested, and 30 doses of marijuana, 54 doses of methamphetamine, and a vehicle were seized.
