Since the operation began on February 5, some 9,350 suspects have been arrested and 7,034 firearms, 1,216,538 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 32,394 magazines, 110,890 kg of drugs, including 535.04 kg of fentanyl, 5,694 vehicles, and 1,112 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. The following seizures and arrests were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, five suspects were arrested, and two firearms, two magazines, 20 rounds of ammunition, and a vehicle were seized.
– Coahuila
In Saltillo, a suspect was arrested, and six kilograms of marijuana and a bag containing doses of methamphetamine were seized.
In another operation in the same municipality, four suspects were arrested, and doses of methamphetamine and a property were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Allende, a suspect was arrested, and 95 doses of methamphetamine, 94 doses of marijuana, cash, a telephone, a scale, and a vehicle were seized.
In General Bravo, eight magazines, 220 rounds of ammunition, and a vehicle with homemade armor were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Concordia, 10 magazines, 2,009 rounds of ammunition, eight link belts, two tactical vests, three backpacks, 11 batteries, and six radio chargers were seized.
In Culiacán and Badiraguato, eleven storage facilities containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 12,725 liters and 810 kilos of chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine and an LP gas tank were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 276 million pesos (US$14.97 million).
– Sonora
In Cajeme, a rifle a magazine, and two vehicles were seized.
In Caborca, a suspect was arrested, and 400 liters of liquid methamphetamine and a semi-trailer were seized.
