Since the operation began on February 5, some 9,658 suspects have been arrested and 7,196 firearms, 1,232,250 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 33,118 magazines, 114,123 kg of drugs, including 535.20 kg of fentanyl, 5,777 vehicles, and 1,139 properties, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. The following seizures and arrests were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, a suspect was arrested, and three firearms, 29 rounds of ammunition, two magazines, and a property were seized.
In Rosarito, five suspects were arrested, and eight firearms, five magazines, and 178 rounds of ammunition were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Santa Bárbara, a machine gun, five rifles, 80 magazines, 3,063 rounds of ammunition, 20 kilos of marijuana, six tactical vests, two communication radios, and a property were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Choix, different equipment used in the production of synthetic drugs and 1,425 kilos of methamphetamine were seized.
In Culiacán and Cosalá, seven storage facilities containing different inputs used in the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 5,650 liters of substances used in the production of methamphetamine, an organic synthesis reactor, and two condensers were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 113 million pesos (US$6.18 million).
– Sonora
In Magdalena, a suspect was arrested, and 13 packages of methamphetamine and nine packages of marijuana were seized.
In Nogales, a suspect was arrested, and 97 doses of cocaine and cash were seized.
