Mexican Press Agency (MxPA) is an independent, nonprofit news organization. We cover politics, economics, and social developments, as well as sports, arts, and culture. And we offer in-depth analysis and feature stories that examine the key issues shaping Mexico and Mexican diaspora.
As mis- and dis-information flourish, we strive to inform our audience with accurate and reliable news that avoids the stereotypes and clichéd tropes often found in mainstream coverage. We feature voices of renowned experts as well as on-the-ground perspectives, offering a well-rounded, insightful look into the ideas, experiences and cultures that drive Mexico and Mexicans worldwide.
We value accuracy and transparency. Our stories are rigorously vetted for factual errors and edited by a team of experienced journalists with decades of combined experience covering Mexico and the world. When we make a mistake, we own it, making corrections in ways our audience can see clearly.
