Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s approval ratings have reached a whopping 82%, six months into her term, according to a survey conducted by Enkoll.
This figure marks a two percentage point increase over the last opinion poll carried out in January 2025 by the polling firm.
In terms of gender, 82 percent of female respondents support Sheinbaum, while 81 percent of men approve of her performance in office.

The Mexican President has high levels of approval in different age groups, with 86 percent support among those 65 and older and 83 percent in the 25 to 34 age bracket.
In response to the question concerning “the best thing that President Claudia Sheinbaum has done in these months in office”, of the 82 percent of respondents who approve of her administration, 45 percent pointed to social support programs. The breakdown was as follows:
· Support for senior citizens with 16 percent
· Social support with 13 percent
· Scholarship/student financial stipend support with 11 percent
· Support for women with 4 percent
· Support for migrants with 1 percent
In addition, 67 percent of those surveyed feel that, in general, the country’s situation has improved since Sheinbaum took office.
Cabinet Evaluation
The survey published on March 31 also measured the performance of the members of the federal government’s cabinet.
The best evaluated is Minister of Security Omar García Harfuch, with 78 percent support. He is followed by Ariadna Montiel, Minister of Wellbeing, with 73 percent; Minister of Foreign Relations Juan Ramón de la Fuente, with 71 percent; Minister of Economy Marcelo Ebrard, with 70 percent; and Minister of Education Mario Delgado with 66 percent.

In the survey, a sample of 1,202 women and men aged 18 years or over was polled between March 20-23.
