Since the beginning of the operation on February 5, some 2,253 suspects have been arrested and 2,005 firearms, 328,274 rounds of various types of ammunition, 9,966 magazines, 26,391.538 kg of drugs, including 163.35 kg of fentanyl, 1,859 vehicles, and 278 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
Two suspects were arrested and 1,059 doses of methamphetamine, 79 doses of marijuana, 12 doses of cocaine, 50 marijuana cigarettes, and a vehicle were seized.
In Ensenada, 10 cameras irregularly installed in public spaces were located and removed.
– Nuevo Leon
In Monterrey, three rifles, 16 magazines, 421 rounds of ammunition, tactical gear, and a vehicle were seized.
In Doctor Coss, 22 magazines, 92 rounds of ammunition, a Barrett rifle, a long weapon, four ballistic vests and two vehicles, one of them with homemade armor, were seized.
– Sinaloa
Four storage facilities for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 2,775 liters and 350 kilos of substances for the production of methamphetamine and an organic synthesis reactor were seized. The economic impact on the criminal organizations is 71 million pesos (US$3.38 million).
In Culiacán, 15 cameras irregularly installed in public spaces were located and removed.
– Sonora
In Cajeme, five suspects were arrested and 66 rounds of ammunition, a rifle, a handgun, two magazines, 90 doses of methamphetamine, two motorcycles, and communication equipment were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Camargo, 12 long weapons, 44 magazines, a rifle, 544 rounds of ammunition, 155 doses of marijuana, tactical gear, and two vehicles were seized.
In Reynosa, 10 magazines, 300 rounds of ammunition and two vehicles were seized, one with homemade armor and the other with both factory and homemade armor.
