Francisco Javier “N” who is one of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)’s 10 most wanted fugitives, has been arrested by Mexican authorities.
Through binational cooperation, authorities became aware that a known subject wanted for Conspiracy to Provide and Conceal Material Support and Resources to Terrorists, Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Racketeering Conspiracy, and Alien Smuggling Conspiracy was active in the town of Baxtla.
Through satellite, mobile and discreet surveillance, Francisco Javier “N” was identified and arrested on Teocelo-Baxtla road by joint forces of the Ministry of National Defense (Defensa), Ministry of the Navy (Semar), Attorney General’s Office (FGR), National Guard (GN) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).
Authorities informed the subject of the reason for his arrest, read him his rights, and transferred him to Mexico City, to be seen before the corresponding authority, and subsequently deported to the United States where he is wanted
Intelligence indicates the subject, a Salvadoran national, belongs to MS-13, an international criminal group from El Salvador.
