Ella Bucio brings gold medal to Mexico from the 2025 Parkour World Championships

Ella Bucio showed the world the tenacity and diligence of Mexican athletes by winning the medal in parkour in the freestyle event of the World Cup held in Montpellier, France this weekend.

With a total of 24.70 points, she surpassed the Dutchwoman Noam Man, who obtained 22.90 points.

The 27-year-old athlete from Mexico City is a prominent athlete, having won this same competition in 2022 and winning gold in the speed event in 2024.

Bucio practiced high-performance artistic gymnastics since childhood and was part of the National Center for the Development of Sports Talents, where she was already emerging as a world-class athlete.

The National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE) recognized the medalist through its X account and also announced that she would be crowned the best athlete of the year in this modality in the 2025 World Cup series.
