Mexicans and visitors are invited to experience the largest festival in the Americas, Feria Nacional de San Marcos in Aguascalientes

The Mexican Government’s Ministry of Tourism has urged national and international travelers to attend the National Fair of San Marcos, in Aguascalientes, the largest in Mexico and Latin America. From April 19 to May 11, the city will be filled with tradition, music, cuisine and much more.

The San Marcos National Fair is one of the most important events in Mexico, attracting millions of visitors from all over the country and abroad. This year, according to Governor María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel, the state of Aguascalientes is expecting more than eight million visitors who will generate revenue of more than MXN 10 billion, with hotels expected to see an occupancy rate of more than 80%.

In a vibrant cultural environment with folk dance performances and traditional handicrafts that showcase the richness of hydro-thermal heritage, attendees will be able to enjoy a unique experience full of joy, connecting them to the roots of Mexican culture through the creativity and talent of artisans.

Likewise, the wide variety of cuisine options present at this celebration stands out, offering the opportunity to taste traditional and contemporary Mexican dishes.

Music will be one of the highlights of the Feria Nacional de San Marcos, and this year’s edition will feature performances by international artists such as The Killers, Scorpions, Tiesto, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, Myke Towers, Los Cardenales y Los Invasores de Nuevo León, Morat, Los Ángeles Azules, Pitbull, among many others.

Japan will be honored as the guest country and will have a space at the fair to exhibit the best of its cuisine, culture and traditions. In addition, Sonora will be the guest state and will carry out various artistic and cultural activities with a special venue that will serve as an important promotional platform for its tourist attractions.

On April 19, the traditional San Marcos National Fair Cavalcade will take place: a parade where riders, charros and escaramuzas fill the main streets of Aguascalientes with color and tradition.

From April 5 to 11, the traditional Mañanitas will take place in the Jardín de San Marcos: a meeting place to enjoy mariachis and live music, as well as activities, raffles and surprises.

To honor the effort and passion of the country’s livestock producers, the San Marcos Fair Livestock Expo 2025 will also be held, where this sector will gather with to show cattle, sheep, goats and horses.
