The security agents, while performing random inspections at checkpoint “Y” in San Fernando, searched a tractor-trailer coupled to a dry box transporting nopal and chia tostadas, where they found 389 black packages containing approximately 700.20 kilos of methamphetamine.
The two suspects were informed of the reason for their arrest, and their constitutional rights were read to them, and together with the drugs and the seized vehicle, they were handed over to the corresponding Public Prosecutor’s Office, which will determine their legal situation and will prepare the investigative file for the case.
With these operations, the institutions of the Security Cabinet reaffirm their commitment to work in coordinated fashion to prevent drugs from getting into the hands of young people.
