Since the beginning of the operation on February 5, some 2,670 suspects have been arrested and 2,327 firearms, 375,270 rounds of various types of ammunition, 11,571 magazines, 29,734.33 kg of drugs, including 163.35 kg of fentanyl, 2,149 vehicles, and 321 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, two suspects were arrested and 21.8 kilos of cocaine and a vehicle were seized.
In Ensenada, 14 video cameras irregularly installed in public spaces were located and removed.
– Chihuahua
In Aldama, eight firearms, 17 magazines, 2,899 rounds of ammunition, four improvised explosive devices, a trailer, and eight vehicles were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Pesquería, 360 kilos of marijuana and a property were seized.
– Sinaloa
Five suspects were arrested and 11 firearms, 18 magazines, 630 rounds of ammunition, 1,038 fentanyl pills, 12 radios, and three vehicles were seized.
In La Cruz de Elota, two suspects were arrested and two firearms, a machine gun, three magazines, 115 rounds of ammunition, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sonora
In San Luis Río Colorado, 837 fentanyl pills were seized.
In Caborca, a rifle, a handgun, a magazine, 34 live rounds of ammunition, nine video cameras, four camera installation cables, three communication radios, a solar charger for video cameras, a suitcase, and a vehicle were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Barretal, two firearms, a magazine. and 15 rounds of ammunition were seized.
