Since the start of the operation on February 5, a total of 9,969 people have been arrested and 7,413 firearms seized, along with 1,261,087 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 33,785 magazines, 115,294.7 kg of drugs—including 560 kg of fentanyl—5,919 vehicles, and 1,179 properties, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
All actions have been carried out in strict adherence to the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following stand out:
– Baja California
In Mexicali, four people were arrested and three properties were seized.
In another operation in the same municipality, one person was arrested, and two long guns, one magazine, 25 rounds of ammunition, doses of methamphetamine, and a vehicle were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Aquiles Serdán, 39 firearms, 102 magazines, 5,023 rounds of ammunition, seven kilograms of cocaine, nine kilograms of marijuana, 14 tactical vests, 24 ballistic plates, a video surveillance camera, and one property were seized.
– Nuevo León
In General Escobedo, two people were arrested, and four firearms, four magazines, and 76 rounds of ammunition were seized.
In Santiago, two people were arrested, and 80,000 liters of hydrocarbons, a container with a capacity of 100,000 liters, and one property were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Badiraguato, three long guns, nine magazines, 285 rounds of ammunition, a grenade-launcher attachment, 40 improvised explosive devices, a drone, a tactical vest, and a vehicle were seized.
In Mocorito, Badiraguato, Culiacán, and Cosalá, seven sites used to concentrate various materials for the manufacture of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. Authorities seized 7,220 liters of substances used to produce methamphetamine, five organic synthesis reactors, four condensers, and two centrifuges. The estimated economic impact on organized crime is 143 million pesos.
– Sonora
In San Luis Río Colorado, three people were arrested, and 85 kilograms of methamphetamine and a vehicle were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Díaz Ordaz, 50 magazines, 980 rounds of ammunition, a tactical vest, two ballistic plates, and three vehicles with homemade armor were seized.
In Reynosa, two people were arrested and two properties were seized.
