The Mexican Government's Security Cabinet reports the results of 'Operation Northern Border' on December 29, 2025.

Since the operation began on February 5, 10,379 people have been arrested and 7,575 firearms, 1,278,814 cartridges of various calibers, 34,265 magazines, 116,856.4 kg of drugs, including 601.8 kg of fentanyl, 6,087 vehicles, and 1,218 properties, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.

These actions are carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following stand out:

– Sinaloa

In Culiacán, five cell phones, a cell phone charger, a USB memory stick, nine sharp objects, and five blunt objects were seized.

– Sonora

In Caborca, one person was arrested, 86 packages of cocaine weighing 172 kilograms were seized, and a tractor-trailer with two semi-trailers was seized.

In Cajeme, three individuals were arrested, and a handgun, a magazine, and six cartridges were seized.

In another operation in the same municipality, one individual was arrested, and doses of methamphetamine and a property were seized.
