Since the operation began on February 5, some 9,805 suspects have been arrested and 7,287 firearms, 1,242,503 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 33,390 magazines, 114,466.1 kg of drugs, including 560 kg of fentanyl, 5,831 vehicles, and 1,159 properties were seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. The following seizures and arrests were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, two rifles, a magazine, 77 rounds of ammunition, a ballistic vest, and two ballistic plates were seized.
– Coahuila
In San Pedro, two suspects were arrested, and four kilograms of cocaine, three cell phones, and a bus were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Monterrey, four suspects were arrested, including a minor, and 44 doses of marijuana, 112 doses of methamphetamine, 51 doses of cocaine, 20 marijuana cigarettes, three gram scales, four cell phones, and cash were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Badiraguato, a rifle, five magazines, 157 rounds of ammunition, two kilograms of marijuana, two kilograms of marijuana and poppy seeds, and a tactical vest were seized.
In Culiacán and Cosalá, seven storage facilities containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 9,765 liters and 325 kilos of substances used in the production of methamphetamine, two organic synthesis reactors, four condensers, four centrifuges, and eight LP gas tanks were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is estimated at 202 million pesos (US$11.09 million).
– Sonora
In Agua Prieta, two rifles, 23 magazines, 657 rounds of ammunition, and two vehicles reported stolen were seized.
In Opodepe, a suspect was arrested, and 294 kilograms of methamphetamine, 12 kilograms of fentanyl, 2.2 kilograms of opium gum, 13.4 kilograms of chemical precursors, and a cargo vehicle were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Río Bravo, two rifles, four magazines, 107 rounds of ammunition, 13 doses of methamphetamine, 18 doses of marijuana, and a vehicle reported stolen were seized.
