Since the operation began on February 5, 2025, some 10,569 suspects have been arrested and 7,745 firearms, 1,297,602 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 34,644 magazines, 117,316.1 kg of drugs, including 601.8 kg of fentanyl, 6,163 vehicles, and 1,234 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Rosarito, a suspect was arrested, and doses of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a property were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, two storage facilities containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 2,420 liters of substances used in the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 47 million pesos (US$2,61 million).
In Escuinapa, a suspect was arrested and a handgun, six magazines, 724 rounds of ammunition, a tactical vest, and a vehicle with homemade armor were seized.
– Sonora
In Cajeme, a suspect was arrested and a firearm, six magazines, 11 rounds of ammunition, two bags of crystal meth, a container of methamphetamine, and a property were seized.
In Imuris, a suspect was arrested and a tractor-trailer hauling two tanker trailers and 62,000 liters of fuel were seized.
