Since the operation began on February 5, some 5,821 suspects have been arrested and 4,667 firearms, 755,299 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 21,868 magazines, 53,648.58 kg of drugs, including 310.89 kg of fentanyl, 4,160 vehicles, and 732 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, two suspects were arrested and four bags of methamphetamine, two cell phones, and a property were seized.
In Tijuana and Ensenada, a suspect was arrested and 54 doses of methamphetamine, 5 doses of heroin, and 17 doses of marijuana were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Aldama, four improvised explosive devices, 12 magazines, 137 rounds of ammunition, 17 tactical vests, and a vehicle reported stolen were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Cosalá, a handgun, a magazine, rounds of ammunition, cash, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sonora
In Navojoa, seven suspects were arrested and a person who had been abducted was freed. A vehicle reported stolen, a magazine, eight rounds of ammunition, a ballistic vest, and 40 tire spikes were seized.
In San Luis Río Colorado, two suspects were arrested and 249 kilograms of methamphetamine and a vehicle were seized.
