Since the operation began on February 5, some 4,271 suspects have been arrested and 3,494 firearms, 571,204 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 17,019 magazines, 38,453 7 kg of drugs, including 254.7 kg of fentanyl, 3,240 vehicles, and 521 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, two suspects were arrested and 38 doses of methamphetamine, nine doses of marijuana, five doses of cocaine, a vehicle, and three disposable vapes were seized.
In Ensenada, four video cameras installed illegally in public spaces were located and removed.
– Nuevo León
In Linares, seven suspects were arrested and six weapons, 13 magazines, and 184 rounds of ammunition were seized.
In Agualeguas, four magazines, a rifle, 90 rounds of ammunition, and three vehicles, one with homemade armor, were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Elota, 12 suspects were arrested, including three minors, and 14 rifles, 277 magazines, rounds of ammunition, 11 improvised explosive devices, and four vehicles were seized.
In Culiacán, five storage facilities used for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 3,950 liters of chemicals used in the production of the drug were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations was 83 million pesos (US$4.38 million).
– Sonora
In Cajeme, five suspects were arrested and 197 doses of crystal meth, 101 doses of marijuana, and a motorcycle were seized.
In other operations, four suspects were arrested, and 16 magazines, 520 rounds of ammunition, 119 doses of methamphetamine, 90 doses of marijuana, and a vehicle were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Ciudad Victoria, six suspects were arrested and 11 weapons, 33 magazines, 269 rounds of ammunition, a tactical vest, and two vehicles were seized.
