Since the operation began on February 5, some 4,364 suspects have been arrested and 3,557 firearms, 582,306 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 17,350 magazines, 38,502 9 kg of drugs, including 254.7 kg of fentanyl, 3,307 vehicles, and 537 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, two suspects were arrested and 12 rounds of ammunition, doses of marijuana, a firearm, two vehicles, and a property were seized.
In other operations, seven suspects were arrested and three magazines, a firearm, 20 rounds of ammunition, 88 doses of methamphetamine, 21 doses of marijuana, and two vehicles, one of which had been reported stolen, were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Jiménez, 18 kilos of marijuana and a property were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Juárez, two suspects were arrested and two rifles, four magazines, 48 rounds of ammunition, 80 doses of marijuana, a cell phone, two digital scales, and cash were seized.
In Agualeguas, a suspect was arrested, and six magazines, a rifle gun, 117 rounds of ammunition, 21 doses of methamphetamine, 23 doses of marijuana, a ballistic vest, three cell phones, and a digital scale were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, seven storage facilities containing various methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 6,440 liters of chemicals used in the production of the drug were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations is 134 million pesos (US$7.07 million).
In Mazatlán, a suspect was arrested and six rifles, seven vehicles (five of which had been reported stolen), 67 magazines for different calibers, 4,370 rounds of ammunition, six improvised explosive devices, 25 doses and three kilos of marijuana, and 39 pieces of tactical gear were seized.
– Sonora
In Cajeme, two suspects were arrested and two rifles, four magazines, 116 rounds of ammunition, and 38 doses of methamphetamine were seized.
In Caborca, 11 video cameras installed illegally in public spaces were located and removed.
