Since the operation began on February 5, some 4,088 suspects have been arrested and 3,377 firearms, 558,275 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 16,292 magazines, 36,938 12 kg of drugs, including 226.59 kg of fentanyl, 3,123 vehicles, and 511 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, 287 kilograms of methamphetamine and a vehicle were seized.
In other operations, five suspects were arrested, and five kilograms and 53 doses of marijuana and 728 doses of methamphetamine were seized.
– Coahuila
In Saltillo, eight suspects were arrested and two properties were seized, along with doses of marijuana and methamphetamine and four gram scales.
– Nuevo León
In Monterrey, a suspect was arrested and two handguns, two magazines, 10 rounds of ammunition, 236 doses of marijuana, five doses of cocaine, two doses of methamphetamine, cash, and a gram scale were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, two storage facilities for various methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 550 liters of chemicals were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations is 11 million pesos (US$215,600).
In Culiacán, two suspects were arrested and seven firearms, magazines, rounds of ammunition, and five vehicles were seized.
In Elota, 52 rounds of ammunition of different calibers and 15 magazines were seized.
– Sonora
In Caborca, eight suspects were arrested, including five minors, and three rifles, a replica handgun, 14 magazines, 878 rounds of ammunition, and three tactical vests were seized.
In San Luis Río Colorado, three suspects were arrested and a rifle, 19 rounds of ammunition, 177 doses of crystal meth, and 24 doses of marijuana were seized.
