Since the beginning of the operation on February 5, some 1,973 suspects have been arrested and 1,836 firearms, 296,490 rounds of various types of ammunition, 9,179 magazines, 24,237.25 kg of drugs, including 129.24 kg of fentanyl, 1,631 vehicles, and 226 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following are the most significant:
– Baja California
Five suspects were arrested and eight rounds of ammunition, a handgun, a magazine, 77 doses of methamphetamine, 18 doses of marijuana, and three properties were seized.
In Rosarito, three suspects were arrested and 15 packages of methamphetamine were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Uruachi, two rifles, 41 magazines, 1,060 rounds of ammunition, and four tactical vests were seized.
In Ciudad Juarez, two suspects were arrested and eight rifles, eight magazines, 87 rounds of ammunition, doses of cocaine and marijuana, five tactical vests, three vehicles, and a property were seized.
– Coahuila
In Torreon, 180 kilos of marijuana and a property were seized.
In Frontera, 1.9 kilos of marijuana were seized in a parcel company.
– Nuevo Leon
In Garcia, a suspect was arrested and two firearms, three magazines, 25 rounds of ammunition, 50 doses of marijuana, 33 doses of methamphetamine, a scale, and a property were seized.
In Galeana, a suspect was arrested and 24 rifles, 13 handguns, 55 magazines, 26,700 rounds of ammunition, two vehicles, and a motorcycle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Salvador Alvarado, three suspects were arrested and four firearms, six magazines, 209 rounds of ammunition, 139 doses of cocaine, 65 doses of methamphetamine, 117 doses of marijuana, a tactical vest, and a vehicle were seized.
Nine storage facilities for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 3,960 liters, 70 kilos of substances for the production of methamphetamine, and three organic synthesis reactors were seized. The economic impact on the criminal organizations is 90 million pesos (US$4.42 million).
– Sonora
In Cajeme, 4,200 doses of methamphetamine and 958 doses of marijuana were seized.
In Caborca, two rifles, 40 magazines, 1,000 rounds of ammunition, and a tactical vest were seized.
– Tamaulipas
A vessel, two handguns with loaded magazines, 84 rounds of different types of ammunition, various documents, 10 million liters of diesel, 192 containers, 23 tractor-trailers with semi-trailers, six tractor-trailers without semi-trailers, and three pickup trucks were seized.
In San Fernando, eight rifles, 44 magazines, two vehicles, and various tactical gear were seized.
