Since the beginning of the operation on February 5, some 3,252 suspects have been arrested and 2,745 firearms, 441,432 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 13,551 magazines, 31,674.63 kg of drugs, including 177.77 kg of fentanyl, 2,545 vehicles, and 419 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
Three suspects were arrested and 62 doses of methamphetamine and a vehicle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, 12 magazines, a rifle, 371 rounds of ammunition, and seven vehicles were seized, two of which were armored.
In Cosalá, two storage facilities for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled, and 1,930 liters of chemical substances for the production of the drug were seized. The economic impact on the criminal organizations was 41 million pesos (US$2.09)
– Sonora
Three suspects were arrested, and 1 million pesos (US$51,000) and a vehicle were seized.
In Cajeme, two suspects were arrested and nine rifles, six handguns, 23 kilos of marijuana, 7.71 kilos of methamphetamine, 3,026 rounds of ammunition of different calibers, 71 magazines, tactical gear, two vehicles, eight video cameras, and a motorcycle were seized.
