Since the beginning of the operation on February 5, some 3,695 suspects have been arrested and 3,092 firearms, 527,373 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 15,114 magazines, 33,161.47 kg of drugs, including 209.80 kg of fentanyl, 2,794 vehicles, and 463 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict compliance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, a suspect was arrested and 111 doses of methamphetamine, 18 doses of marijuana, and two vehicles that had been reported stolen were seized.
In other operations, eight suspects were arrested and 40 doses of methamphetamine, a replica handgun, 39 doses of marijuana, a vehicle, and a property were seized.
– Coahuila
In Ciudad Acuña, a suspect was arrested and 523 doses of methamphetamine, a gram scale, and a property were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Villaldama, three suspects were arrested and three rifles, 12 magazines, 24 doses of cocaine, three ballistic vests, an article of clothing, three communication radios, and a vehicle were seized.
In El Carmen, five suspects were arrested and five rifles, a handgun, six magazines, 55 rounds of ammunition, 24 doses of marijuana, 176 doses of methamphetamine, three cell phones, two digital scales, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Elota, six rifles, a sporting rifle, 30 magazines, 752 rounds of ammunition, 800 grams of marijuana, and seven tactical vests were seized.
In Cosalá, 22 storage facilities for different methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During these operations, 14,050 liters and 25 kilos of chemical substances for the production of the drug, four organic synthesis reactors, 11 lab condensers, three burners, and two mixers were seized. The economic impact on the criminal organizations is 298 million pesos (US$15.20 million).
– Sonora
In Caborca, five firearms, 38 magazines, 280 rounds of ammunition, five tactical vests, three magazine pouches, and a vehicle were seized.
In San Luis Río Colorado, a suspect was arrested and 701 kilos of cocaine and a tractor-trailer were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Nuevo Laredo, three rifles, 47 magazines, 1,592 rounds of ammunition, two ballistic vests, four ballistic plates, four Kevlar helmets, and two webbing sets were seized.
