Since the operation began on February 5, some 3,969 suspects have been arrested and 3,312 firearms, 548,888 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 15,995 magazines, 34,987 9 kg of drugs, including 223.48 kg of fentanyl, 1,797 vehicles, and 495 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, four suspects were arrested, and two weapons, a submachine gun, seven magazines, 298 rounds of ammunition, 13.6 kg of fentanyl, 149.5 kg of marijuana, and a vehicle were seized.
In another operation, a suspect was arrested, and a magazine, 51 rounds of ammunition, 39 doses of methamphetamine, 25 doses of marijuana, a tactical vest, two ballistic plates, an air gun, three cartridge belts, a replica handgun, a signal jammer, and a vehicle were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Guadalupe, six rifles, a handgun, 57 magazines, 1,800 rounds of ammunition, two bags of marijuana, seven tactical vests, 12 ballistic plates, a webbing set, two Kevlar helmets, 19 tactical uniforms, and a vehicle were seized.
In Ciudad Juárez, a suspect was arrested and 80 kilograms of marijuana and a vehicle were seized.
– Coahuila
In Ciudad Acuña, three suspects were arrested, and two rifles, 100 rounds of ammunition, a vehicle, and a trailer were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Colombia, two suspects were arrested, and two tanker trucks and 63,000 liters of fuel were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Elota, three suspects were arrested, and 12 weapons, a grenade launcher attachment, 43 magazines, 1,062 rounds of ammunition, five grenades, a Barret rifle, and nine tactical vests were seized.
In Cosalá, nine storage facilities for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 3,150 liters of substances for the production of drugs and two organic synthesis reactors were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations is 67 million pesos (US$3.42 million)
– Sonora
In Altar, six suspects were arrested, and nine rifles, 84 magazines, 1,077 rounds of ammunition, six tactical vests, and two vehicles were seized.
In other operations, two suspects were arrested, and a handgun, four magazines, 87 rounds of ammunition, an improvised explosive device, 1.5 kilos of marijuana, 337 doses of methamphetamine, 158 doses of marijuana, three vehicles, and a property were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Matamoros, an abducted individual was freed from captivity, and two rifles, 35 magazines, 915 rounds of ammunition, two webbing sets, and a vehicle were seized.
In Reynosa, three suspects were arrested, and three handguns, a replica rifle, a machine gun, 400 rounds of ammunition, three kilograms of cocaine, 3.9 kilograms of methamphetamine, 14 doses of marijuana, 800,000 pesos (US$40,820), 12 vehicles, and three properties were seized.
