Since the operation began on February 5, some 8,707 suspects have been arrested and 6,714 firearms, 1,158,924 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 30,878 magazines, 107,210.2 kg of drugs, including 493.92 kg of fentanyl, 5,442 vehicles, and 1,042 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana and Mexicali, three suspects were arrested, and 46 doses of methamphetamine and 21 doses of marijuana were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Ciudad Juárez, a suspect was arrested, and six firearms, two magazines, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Escuinapa, 13 firearms, 27 magazines, 200 rounds of ammunition, four improvised explosive devices, four grenades, three kilograms of potassium nitrate, and a kilogram of elemental sulfur were seized.
– Sonora
In Hermosillo, two suspects were arrested, and a rifle, three magazines, 90 rounds of ammunition, 20 kilograms of cocaine, 41 doses of methamphetamine, a vehicle reported stolen, and a property were seized.
In San Luis Río Colorado, a suspect was arrested, and 60 kilograms of methamphetamine and a tractor-trailer were seized.
