Since the operation began on February 5, some 8,075 suspects have been arrested and 6,304 firearms, 1,099,145 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 29,306 magazines, 101,757.9 kg of drugs, including 483.32 kg of fentanyl, 5,179 vehicles, and 982 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. The following seizures and arrests were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, a suspect was arrested and US$200,000 was seized.
– Chihuahua
In Guadalupe y Calvo and Ciudad Juárez, two rifles, two magazines, 156 rounds of ammunition, and a tactical vest were seized.
– Coahuila
In Saltillo, five suspects were arrested, and 13.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and two properties were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Cosalá, a storage facility containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs was located and dismantled. During the operation, 1,400 liters of substances used in the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is estimated at 28 million pesos (US$1.51 million).
In Escuinapa, two rifles, 10 magazines, 265 rounds of ammunition, and tactical gear were seized.
– Sonora
In various municipalities, six suspects were arrested, and 227 packages of methamphetamine, doses of marijuana, three vehicles, and cash were seized.
In San Luis Río Colorado, a suspect was arrested, and a firearm, a magazine, and a grenade launcher attachment were seized.
