Since the operation began on February 5, some 7,784 suspects have been arrested and 5,961 firearms, 1,037,574 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 28,204 magazines, and 101,573.3 kg of drugs, including 467. 32 kg of fentanyl, 5,074 vehicles, and 949 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tecate, two suspects were arrested, and a handgun, a magazine, 13 live rounds of ammunition, a vehicle, and a portable radio were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Aldama, seven rifles, 15 magazines, 230 rounds of ammunition, a tactical vest, a webbing set, a tactical uniform, and a vehicle were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Los Ramones, nine suspects were arrested, and nine rifles, nine magazines, 151 rounds of ammunition, 173 doses of methamphetamine, 79 doses of marijuana, nine tactical vests, seven backpacks, eight digital scales, and cash were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Cosalá, two storage facilities containing various materials for the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 530 liters of substances for the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 10 million pesos (US$540,000).
– Sonora
In Cajeme, two suspects were arrested and two handguns, two magazines, 22 rounds of ammunition, and a vehicle were seized.
In Nogales, a suspect was arrested, and 40 doses of marijuana, eight doses of cocaine, and cash were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Soto la Marina, a vehicle with homemade armor and two Barrett rifles were seized.
In Reynosa, narcotics were incinerated and 645 kilograms of methamphetamine and 19 kilograms of cocaine were destroyed.
