Since the operation began on February 5, some 8,206 suspects have been arrested and 6,400 firearms, 1,112,533 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 29,698 magazines, 105,053.3 kg of drugs, including 483.32 kg of fentanyl, 5,235 vehicles, and 993 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Chihuahua
In Coyame del Sotol, two suspects were arrested, and two rifles, six magazines, 171 rounds of ammunition, and a tactical vest were seized.
In Balleza, two rifles and 25 rounds of ammunition were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Cosalá, a storage facility containing various materials used in the production of synthetic drugs was located and dismantled. During the operation, 1,550 liters and 275 kilos of substances used in the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is estimated at 37 million pesos (US$2.01 million).
In Culiacán, 211,009 fentanyl pills, 500 kilos of methamphetamine, 130 liters of methamphetamine, doses of cocaine, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sonora
In Hermosillo, a suspect was arrested, and 78 packages of marijuana and eight packages of crystal meth were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Miguel Alemán, a rifle, 10 magazines, and 100 rounds of ammunition were seized.
