Since the operation began on February 5, some 7,876 suspects have been arrested and 6,101 firearms, 1,067,723 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 28,703 magazines, and 101,614.5 kg of drugs, including 467. 32 kg of fentanyl, 5,102 vehicles, and 955 properties were seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The operations were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Ensenada, three firearms, a magazine, 71 rounds of ammunition, 265 doses of methamphetamine, 92 doses of marijuana, and a tactical vest were seized.
In Mexicali, a suspect was arrested and two firearms, 26 rounds of ammunition, and a vehicle were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Ciudad Juárez, three suspects were arrested, and 38 firearms, 38 magazines, 4,553 rounds of ammunition, and a property were seized.
In Ojinaga, five firearms, 34 magazines, 1,196 rounds of ammunition, tactical gear, and a vehicle reported stolen were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Linares, five suspects were arrested, including two minors, and five firearms, 11 magazines, 182 rounds of ammunition, 163 doses of methamphetamine, 261 doses of marijuana, cash, five cell phones, four tactical vests, and five gram scales were seized.
In another operation, also in Linares, four suspects were arrested, and six firearms, 13 magazines, 122 rounds of ammunition, 80 doses of marijuana, 66 doses of methamphetamine, three tactical vests, three backpacks, four gram scales, two cell phones, and a vehicle were seized.
In Monterrey, 18 suspects were arrested, including three minors, and 11 firearms, 21 magazines, 259 rounds of ammunition, 250 doses of marijuana, 625 doses of methamphetamine, three tactical vests, six gram scales, and six tactical backpacks were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Badiraguato, two rifles, three magazines, and 3,580 rounds of ammunition were seized.
In Cosalá, three storage facilities containing various materials used in the production of synthetic were located and dismantled. During the operations, 3,000 liters and 25 kilos of substances used in the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 61 million pesos (US$3.32 million).
– Sonora
In Caborca, a vehicle, 103 packages of methamphetamine, 30 packages of marijuana, and 50 packages of cocaine were seized.
In various municipalities, five suspects were arrested, and 105 packages of marijuana, 14 doses of methamphetamine, a vehicle, and cash were seized.
