Since the operation began on February 5, some 7,968 suspects have been arrested and 6,194 firearms, 1,094,282 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 29,085 magazines, 101,728.4 kg of drugs, including 483.32 kg of fentanyl, 5,138 vehicles, and 967 properties were seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These operations were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Chihuahua
In Aldama, four rifles, 36 magazines, 1,141 rounds of ammunition, four ballistic vests, and 17 tire spikes were seized.
In Coyame del Sotol, a suspect was arrested, and two rifles, four magazines, 201 rounds of ammunition, a tactical vest, and a vehicle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Badiraguato, three encampments used by organized crime were located and dismantled. During the operations, a rifle, seven magazines, 1,723 rounds of ammunition, five kilos of marijuana, tactical clothing, and a vehicle were seized.
In Culiacán, two rifles, four magazines, 90 rounds of ammunition, 420 marijuana cigarettes, 13 cell phones, and two modems were seized.
– Sonora
In various municipalities, five suspects were arrested, and two firearms, two magazines, 53 rounds of ammunition, 88 doses of methamphetamine, 96 doses of marijuana, and 19 doses of cocaine were seized.
