Since the operation began on February 5, some 7,181 suspects have been arrested and 5,560 firearms, 983,601 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 26,576 magazines, 94,803 kg of drugs, including 404 kg of fentanyl, 4,783 vehicles, and 867 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico..
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Ensenada, five rifles, three prop weapons, a magazine, 28 rounds of ammunition, and three double barreled shotguns were seized.
In San Felipe, three suspects were arrested, and doses of opium gum, 166 rounds of ammunition, six magazines, and a satellite radio were seized.
– Chihuahua
In Chihuahua, 300 kilos of marijuana and a property were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Cosalá, a storage facility containing various materials for the production of synthetic drugs was located and dismantled. During the operation, 200 liters of substances for the production of methamphetamine were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is estimated at 4 million pesos (US$220,000).
In Elota, a firearm, a magazine, and 18 improvised explosive devices for drones were seized.
– Sonora
In Cajeme, two suspects were arrested, and two firearms, two magazines, 31 rounds of ammunition, doses of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana, seven cell phones, and a property were seized.
In various municipalities, seven suspects were arrested, and 151 packages of methamphetamine, 89 doses of marijuana, and 22 doses of heroin were seized.
