Since the operation began on February 5, some 7,339 suspects have been arrested and 5,677 firearms, 993,395 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 27,076 magazines, 95,132.5 kg of drugs, including 405.6 kg of fentanyl, 4,868 vehicles, and 891 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, Mexicali, and Playas de Rosarito, three suspects were arrested and a handgun, 91 doses of methamphetamine, three electronic devices, five cartridges with cannabis oil, four jars of marijuana, a marijuana plantation, and two vehicles were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, three suspects were arrested, and six firearms, five magazines, 85 rounds of ammunition, a vehicle, and a property were seized.
In Mocorito, 28 kilos of fentanyl and a vehicle were seized.
– Sonora
In Cajeme, two suspects were arrested, 299 doses of methamphetamine, seven rounds of ammunition, and a vehicle were seized.
In Nogales, a suspect was arrested, 9.6 kilos of fentanyl, doses of methamphetamine, and a vehicle were seized.
– Nuevo León
In General Escobedo, two suspects were arrested, one of them a minor, and three rifles, seven magazines, 102 rounds of ammunition, 94 doses of marijuana, 67 doses of methamphetamine, three webbing sets, a cell phone, two digital scales, cash, and a vehicle were seized.
