Since the operation began on February 5, some 7,351 suspects have been arrested and 5,687 firearms, 997,463 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 27,119 magazines, 95,330 kg of drugs, including 447 kg of fentanyl, 4,880 vehicles, and 898 properties have been seized, according to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
These actions were carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, six kilograms of fentanyl, 30 kilograms of methamphetamine, 10 kilograms of heroin, doses of marijuana, two motorcycles, a vehicle, and a property were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Juárez, three suspects were arrested, and two handguns, two magazines, 30 rounds of ammunition, 87 doses of methamphetamine, 70 doses of marijuana, two gram scales, a motorcycle helmet, cash, and a motorcycle were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Badiraguato, Culiacán, and Cosalá, seven storage facilities containing various materials for the production of synthetic drugs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 7,420 liters and 10 kilograms of substances for the production of methamphetamine and a mixer were seized. The economic impact on organized crime is 150 million pesos (US$8.19 million).
In Mocorito, eight kilograms of fentanyl, six magazines, 170 rounds of ammunition, a tactical vest, and two ballistic plates were seized.
– Sonora
In Hermosillo, a suspect was arrested, and 184 packages of marijuana and 41 packages of methamphetamine were seized.
In Puerto Peñasco, a suspect was arrested, and 47 bags, 57 cigarettes, and eight jars of marijuana, 190 packages of methamphetamine, 79 packages of cocaine, cash, and a vehicle reported stolen were seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Jaumave, two rifles, 10 magazines, 259 rounds of ammunition, three tactical vests, six ballistic plates, and a vehicle with homemade armor were seized.
