As a result of sharing both information and intelligence work, the authorities were able to identify the operating area of a suspect wanted by U.S. authorities for his involvement in drug distribution.

As a result, fixed surveillance and security patrols were deployed in the metropolitan area of Colima and Villa de Álvarez, and it was in the vicinity of Benito Juárez Avenue that security agents identified a subject who matched the characteristics contained in the reports.

The detainee was informed of his legal rights and was transferred to the appropriate authority for subsequent proceedings.

With these actions, the institutions of the Security Cabinet reaffirm their commitment to work in a coordinated manner to ensure peace and arrest individuals who generate violence.
