Since the operation began on February 5, some 3,998 suspects have been arrested and 3,334 firearms, 551,133 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 16,045 magazines, 36,619 17 kg of drugs, including 226.59 kg of fentanyl, 3,082 vehicles, and 499 properties have been seized, acoording to the Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico.
The actions have been carried out in strict accordance with the rule of law and with full respect for human rights. Among the seizures and arrests, the following were the most significant:
– Baja California
In Tijuana, a suspect was arrested and three rifles, five magazines, 246 rounds of ammunition, 10 kilograms of methamphetamine, two kilograms of fentanyl, doses of fentanyl, 500 doses of methamphetamine, doses of heroin, two vehicles, and a property were seized.
In other operations, five suspects were arrested and four weapons, two magazines, seven rounds of ammunition, five doses of methamphetamine, a motorcycle reported stolen, and two vehicles, one of which was reported stolen, were seized.
– Nuevo León
In Santa Catarina, 10 kilograms of marijuana were seized.
– Sinaloa
In Culiacán, seven storage facilities for methamphetamine inputs were located and dismantled. During the operations, 9,850 liters and 25 kilos of substances for the production of drugs were seized. The economic impact on criminal organizations is 209 million pesos (US$10.66 million).
In Mazatlán, 19 doses of cocaine, 101 doses of crystal meth, and 30 doses of marijuana were seized.
– Sonora
In Caborca, two suspects were arrested and a rifle, a magazine, 27 rounds of ammunition, 76 doses of cocaine, and 10 tire spikes were seized.
In El Cobre, a vehicle with homemade armor was seized.
– Tamaulipas
In Reynosa, a rifle, three magazines, four rounds of ammunition, an ATV, a vehicle, three jet skis, and a property were seized.
