“This class is a message to all of Mexico and the entire world. In Mexico, we are building peace, prosperity, and we will always choose to be a free, independent, and sovereign country. Mexicans have a brave, free, and just spirit; we are a people committed to solidarity and brother and sisterhood; we never leave anyone by the wayside,” she explained.
Before hundreds of Mexicans of all ages who participated in the National Boxing Class, the President stressed that this activity shows that Mexico is a country that says yes to education, sports, peace, and love.

“Young Mexicans say: no to violence, no to addictions. The people of Mexico say no to racism, no to classism, no to machismo. The people of Mexico say yes to education, yes to sports, yes to peace, yes to love,” she continued.
President Sheinbaum explained that in addition, the National Boxing Class is an example that sports make people freer, healthier, and happier.
“The National Boxing Class shows that sports make us freer, healthier, and happier. It shows that when we organize ourselves nothing is impossible; it shows that the people of Mexico are courageous and glorious. Mexico is wonderful, there is nothing else like Mexico. Young Mexicans are the present and the future of our country. The National Boxing Class declares in a single voice: Viva Mexico,” she added.
