México Invita is the new mobile application launched by the Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency (ATDT), together with the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur), whose goal is to make the visitor experience easier by bringing together cultural and service information that guides and promotes the richness and diversity of the 32 federal entities, as well as cultural, gastronomic and historical activities.

Developed by the ATDT's Software Factory, the México Invita app lets users consult information on more than 290 tourist routes in Mexico, including Pueblos Mágicos, archaeological zones, museums, natural attractions, historical sites and gastronomic experiences.

Among its features, tourists can consult various itineraries to make the most of nature, discover cultural heritage and savor Mexican gastronomy, and access a tourism listings board with activities, fairs, festivals, sporting events and ecotourism options. It will also offer useful services for roadside and mobility assistance, immigration guidance, connectivity, protection in the purchase of goods or services through the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco), as well as a section answering frequently asked questions to give greater confidence to those who travel.

The app has a direct-access button to 911 to report emergencies or request civil protection support, as well as hotline numbers for matters of discrimination, prevention of gender violence and defense of human rights.

México Invita is a tool to promote tourism as an economic activity, giving visibility to places, experiences and services that are part of local economies, generating benefits for establishments, service providers, producers and communities.

México Invita is a free application available for iOS, Android and Huawei devices.
